Each month the Carson City Chamber of Commerce and Carson City Parks & Recreation team up with community members for a morning of beautifaction. All participants receive goodies of some form or another. For instance, today we got breakfast goodies, and t-shirts and lunch from Carson City's new Anytime Fitness. Free “Save Our Seniors” Event May 23 in Reno

Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation and Sugarland Ranch will host an afternoon of food, music, and dance at Sugarland Ranch in Reno on May 23 to raise awareness for senior dogs and cats in need of loving homes. The event is free and open to the public, and local animal rescue groups are welcome to join, as well.

Ametherm Announces Dual Agency Certifications for Power Thermistors

(Carson City, Nev., May 13, 2010) – Engineers needing CSA and UL approved power thermistors that allow between 800 and 1500 watts in the 2 to 20 amp range can find them at Ametherm, a U.S. based manufacturer of inrush current limiters. The dual agency approval makes Ametherm one of few manufacturers of these types of products.
