The Carson City Library Foundation met its goal of collecting 16 artificial Christmas trees within 24, thanks to the community's generosity and quick response. The donated trees will help create a New York “Tavern on the Green” atmosphere at the Foundation’s New Year’s Eve party, scheduled December 31 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm this year at the State Library and Archives.
