I recently provided the Carson City Library Foundation with a new website that includes online ticket purchases and donations, and a members-only log in area for the Foundation Board, of which I'm a member. The Carson City Library Foundation met its goal of collecting 16 artificial Christmas trees within 24, thanks to the community's generosity and quick response. The donated trees will help create a New York “Tavern on the Green” atmosphere at the Foundation’s New Year’s Eve party, scheduled December 31 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm this year at the State Library and Archives.
